A Tudor-Style Stucco House That Stole Our Hearts

Meet our Westward Tudor project!

There’s something about the charm of a Tudor-style home—steeply pitched roofs, arched doorways, leaded glass windows—that feels both romantic and grounded. We recently came across a stunning Tudor that stopped us in our tracks, blending classic details with modern livability. It captivated us so much that it’s now the new home to Wendy and her family as of THIS WEEK!

As our design wheels start turning, think of rich wood paneling, an original stone fireplace, and warm, inviting interiors paired with updated lighting and fresh furnishings. A flare of Nancy Meyers with a contemporary twist — understated, comfortable, layers of fabrics, sophisticated but easy, pulled together but also a tiny bit quirky! This blend of old and new will create a home that feels storied yet perfectly suited for today.

We are working on a dining light fixture for this area of the dining room, that overlooks a pond and water feature. We are looking for something simple so it doesn’t compete with the grid windows and view.

We are working on powder bathroom wallpaper and sconce options, to give a dark and moody vibe that excites and adds the unexpected we always love. Most of the wallpapers we sourced are from Perigold where you can find our favorite brands like Schumacher, Cole & Sons and JP Baker.

Wendy’s daughter’s room we are planning for pops of color, florals, and furniture with spindles that nod to the 1930s Tudor style. Next up: what paint color? Probably neutral white or off-white to start.

The only thing we’ve purchased so far?

Outdoor Furniture since summer is approaching rapidly! We are loving the color palette with the pop of TEAL ✨
