Vancouver Views Launches!
One of the biggest questions we get—besides “what white paint do you use?”—is about cabinets. Should they be wood or painted? Flat-front or paneled? Can you mix styles in one house without it looking like a Pinterest board gone wrong?
Vancouver Views answered all of that—and then some.
Here’s what we were working with:
A 90s traditional shell
Clients who wanted warm, modern, timeless—not trendy
One person leaning mid-century, the other leaning contemporary
A kitchen and bar space with totally different functions and visibility
So here’s what we did:
We went flat-front white oak for the kitchen to bring in that mid-century soul and keep things clean and natural. But in the bar area—where sightlines were separate—we leaned more traditional: painted cabinets in shaker style and a deeper, moodier color pulled from the stone slab. It felt special, intentional, and gave the space some drama without stealing the kitchen’s thunder.
Lesson? You don’t have to do the same thing everywhere. If it’s done with thought, you can mix materials, door styles, and finishes—and actually make the home feel more cohesive. Just make sure each moment has a reason for what it’s doing.

Want That Teal Glow? Products You NEED. Yes, They Are That Good!
Don’t let summer send you to the beach lookin’ like an alligator! My hacks to getting that glowy beautiful skin continues.

Let’s be clear: I usually SKIMP on cleansers so I can spend money on the heavy hitters—but the Dore cleanser? She’s soft, luxe, and totally worth it (especially if Mom’s footing the bill). Light, clean, and makes you feel like you’re starting your day in a French pharmacy ad.
Ursa Major? I’m obsessed with the whole line. Affordable, clean, and just good. That Vermont-based Instagram lady sold me once and now I’m loyal. The face wash = fabulous. The eye cream? I’ll take any help I can get in that department, and this one pulls its weight.
And if you’ve not yet stocked up on OSEA oils, please do. They are my holy grail gift—birthday, hostess, whatever. Feels like silk, smells like the forest (not a cupcake), and actually soaks in. I use it nightly and always give my décolletage a little extra love. Yes, that’s Fancy Nancy for chest.
Now… TEETH.
These GLO whitening pens are my new ride-or-die. I’ve tried Crest, Colgate, even the dentist. But THIS? One quick swipe in the morning while I’m getting ready. Done.
No drool trays, no LED mouthguard nonsense. Just brighter teeth, less drama.
Next month I’m testing SNOW—stay tuned for a full dental glow-up review.
If you’re chasing that glow—this is where it starts. Hydrated skin, no sticky residue, no “influencer BS”—just products that actually work. Super bueno.
